jenny vincent

The voice of my soul.

Jenny Vincent is an artist who has shed the traditional notions associated with classically trained organists; she has introduced her audiences to a wide spectrum of music, everything from Bach and Franc to contemporary pieces by Canadian composer, Timothy Corlis. Her performances are delivered with a sense of style and artistry that have made her one of Canada's finest organists. Although widely recognized for her technical musicianship; she is regularly praised for her interpretation and connection to the pieces performed. Her playing has been described as emotionally expressive and intimately connected.

"Jenny Vincent did stellar work as a featured artist at the 2015 Winnipeg RCCO Convention, both as an ultra-sensitive organ accompanist for the excellent Canadian choral ensemble, Canzona, and also as a performer of major solo organ repertoire. Ms. Vincent is a superb artist who knows how to communicate with her audiences and how to make music of the highest quality. She is one of Canada's finest organists!"

James David Christie
Professor of Organ
Oberlin Conservatory of Music
Organist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra

"Jenny Vincent is a gifted organist with skill and dedication, who brings music to sparkling life. Sharing a concert series with her, presenting the complete organ works of Bach was an inspiring experience."

David Drinkell
Christ Church Cathedral

"Jenny is a true collaborator - confident and open-minded. She has brilliant technique and is always musical, making our recent RCCO performance (2015) a huge success. "

Dr. Elroy Duane Friesen
Artistic Director

Jenny has recorded several CDs including Organ Interludes and Organ Hymn Variations produced while residing in Vancouver, BC, and is planning a new release this coming fall. Her playing has been aired on CBC.

Jenny recently relocated to Nanoose Bay on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, of Canada's west coast. Taking on the position of music leader at Knox United at nearby Parksville, she is very excited to be embarking on the next chapter of her musical journey. Planning has already begun for upcoming performances at Knox this fall and into 2017 to include a new summer festival highliteing repertoire chosen from the works of the major composers as well as newer contemporary pieces.
